Prevent apps from running in the background
Brevent, black prevent, can app-standby (since Android 6.0, not supported on some devices) or force-stop apps without root, prevent apps from running in long time.Brevent never brevent apps not in Bervent list. If apps are launched then quit (tapping Back or so), Brevent will app-standby them; if apps timed out in standby, or swiped from recents screen, Brevent will force-stop them. Whenever apps are running without activity, Brevent will force-stop them.Apps in Brevent list can be set "allow sync" to receive notifications or do sync jobs. Brevent wont standby "allow sync" apps, and Brevent wont force-stop "allow sync" apps with notifications or running in background.Brevent supports Android 6.0 to Android 11, requires "USB debugging" or "Wireless debugging" (since Android 11) in "developer options".Since Android 8, Brevent wont work if debugging is off or USB option is changed. If debugging turns off when you unplug the cable, please change USB option. Great app! I've been using this since forever. If the developer can see this, please add a force-stop option in app option menu if possible.
Found a it difficult to understand what was going on. I have a non rooted honor phone so if I understand correctly, to run brevent I would have to do the adb commands each time? I wasn't sure what was going on so trying alternative
Can't initiate on a S22. Please help!

It was great until a limit was added to the amount of apps you could choose so you had to pay to remove the limit.
worked before. not works for Samsung ONE UI 4.0 ( android 12). update: reconnected and it worked. however, the adb son pc shows "permission denied" although it works on android phone.( version 12).
Keeps popping recommendation about tap to unbrevent wechat, but to brevent wechat is exactly what I need from the app, unbelievable.
My app is unbrevented, but still couldn't launch, prompt "isn't available ,managed by brevent"
Pls add option to backup the settings and restore the settings.
Brevent itself works fine, however it keeps spewing large, verbose and numerous log files to the /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/me.piebridge.brevent directory, with no option to turn that off, even in the hidden "OCD options".
